A burglar forced entry by smashing through the door frame. The customer — already familiar with our work from a previous job — called us immediately. We reinforced the frame with heavy-duty hardware, restoring security fast and giving the customer full peace of mind.

A complete sashlock with lever handle and escutcheon key plate professionally fitted to an oak interior door. A sashlock combines a latch and a deadbolt in one unit — providing both convenience and security in a clean, modern finish.

Hookbolt Replacement & Euro Lock Change

A worn multipoint hookbolt mechanism and euro cylinder replaced on a UPVC door. The first image shows the old faulty mechanism with the euro lock still in place — the second shows the new hookbolt strike plate and cylinder fitted cleanly. A common but critical repair that restores full security to any UPVC door.

Gatemaster Lock Installation — Side Gate

The customer could only lock her side gate from the inside using bolts — leaving no way to secure it from the outside. We supplied and fitted a Gatemaster deadbolt lock with a keyed cylinder, giving her full external access control for the first time. The job came with its challenges — the gate needed adjusting and reinforcing, the ground was uneven and uphill, and nothing was quite straight — but the end result was spot on. The customer was so happy she left a tip! 🎉

Window Board-Up — Residential Door

A customer's front door fanlight window was broken and needed immediate securing. As a temporary measure, cardboard had been placed to cover the gap. We attended on an emergency basis and fitted a proper wooden board cut precisely to shape — securing the arch window and making the property safe while a permanent glass replacement was arranged.

Window Board-Up — Commercial Property

A commercial premises on 14A had its door glass smashed. The customer called us for an emergency board-up to secure the property and prevent further access. We fitted a full OSB board to completely cover the glazed section — making the premises weatherproof and secure until a permanent repair could be carried out.

House Fire — Emergency Access & Lock Replacement

A customer's house suffered a fire. In the chaos, their key was destroyed in the blaze — leaving them locked out of their own home with a damaged door. They called LT Lockworks for emergency access.

We gained entry using a precision 6mm drill-picking technique — no damage to the door, no damage to the frame. The old burnt lock was carefully removed, the door was fully secured with a brand new ERA Certfire BS3621 5-lever sashlock, fresh keys cut, and everything covered and repaired. The customer was back inside their home safely.
